Welcome to UMA Libraries!

UMA Libraries support and enrich the UMA community by providing access and guidance in the use of library resources. Staff at our two locations in Augusta and Bangor support academic instruction in all areas and consult in the use of information resources in today’s knowledge-based society.

How do I use library resources from off-campus?

To access library resources from off-campus you need to login. We're required to verify that you are a student, faculty, or staff member. You may use either your maine.edu username and password OR your last name and library card number.

Maine.edu Login: Your maine.edu information is the same username and password you use to access the UMA portal, Blackboard, MaineStreet, and other University resources.

URSUS Library Login: Library card / barcode numbers must be current and activated with the library in order for this option to work.
